Day on the Gulf A Private Family Sailing Experience Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Capacity: Up to 6 Guests Included: Private Instructor Captain & Professional Crew Spend a full, unhurried day on the water where learning unfolds naturally—through shared moments, gentle guidance, and the simple joy of being together. Day on the Gulf is a private sailing experience thoughtfully designed for families and small groups seeking a balance of discovery, relaxation, and connection. Your day begins with a scenic coastal sail as your instructor captain introduces the basics of sailing in an easy, engaging way. Guests of all ages are invited to participate at their own comfort level—whether that means taking the helm, helping trim the sails, or simply enjoying the ride and ocean breeze. Upon reaching a calm, protected anchorage, families can take part in setting the anchor and learning how sailors choose safe, restful spots for the day. From there, the pace slows and the experience opens up—time to unwind, explore curiosity, and enjoy being present together. Once anchored, relax with lunch onboard, watch for dolphins, or continue casual conversations about the boat, the sea, and life at sail. Instruction remains light and conversational, designed to inspire interest without ever interrupting the pleasure of the moment. What’s Not Included & Guest Information Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch, snacks, and beverages for the day. To help preserve the vessel, red wine and hard liquor are not permitted onboard. If children will be joining the charter, please bring properly fitted child-sized life jackets, as onboard safety equipment is rated for adults. A Borrow a Life Vest station with children’s sizes is available at the marina; however, availability cannot be guaranteed. Itinerary Charters depart from and return to the marina’s fuel dock. Detailed boarding instructions and directions will be provided upon booking.

Cancellation Policy
At Bluewater Escapes, we are committed to delivering a smooth, enjoyable, and safe sailing experience. While we understand that plans can sometimes change, our booking policies are designed to ensure fairness and efficiency for all guests. All bookings are strictly non-refundable. However, in the event you are unable to make your scheduled trip, we offer a one-time rescheduling opportunity based on the next available date in our calendar. Guest-initiated cancellations made within 24 hours of departure may forfeit this rescheduling option. Refunds will only be considered under extraordinary circumstances and are granted solely at the discretion of Bluewater Escapes. In rare instances, schedule adjustments may be required due to factors such as maintenance needs or unfavorable operating conditions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your trip at a convenient time. We ask for as much notice as possible in the event of an emergency cancellation. While refunds are not typically issued, we strive to be understanding and flexible when truly unavoidable situations arise. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to providing you with a memorable experience on the water.
