Day on the Gulf — Private Family Sailing Experience Time: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Capacity: Up to 6 Guests Includes: Private Instructor Captain & Professional Crew Enjoy a full day on the water where learning happens naturally—through shared moments, hands-on fun, and time together as a family. Our Day on the Gulf Private Charter blends light sailing instruction with plenty of time to relax, play, and connect, making it ideal for families and small groups looking for an engaging yet easygoing experience. The day begins with a scenic coastal sail, during which your instructor captain introduces sailing concepts in a simple, interactive way—inviting guests of all ages to participate as much or as little as they’d like. Upon arriving at a calm, protected anchorage, families can take part in setting the anchor, learning how sailors choose safe spots and prepare for a day at rest. Once anchored, the focus shifts to fun and togetherness. Lounge and enjoy lunch onboard, watch for dolphins, or continue asking questions about the boat and the sea. Instruction is relaxed and conversational, designed to spark curiosity without interrupting the joy of being on the water. To help us maintain the vessel’s condition, red wine and hard liquor are not permitted. If children will be joining the charter, please bring properly fitted child-sized life jackets, as onboard safety equipment is rated for adults. A “Borrow a Life Vest” station with children’s sizes is available at the marina, though availability cannot be guaranteed. Boarding Location Charters depart from and return to the fuel dock within the marina. Detailed boarding instructions and directions will be provided upon booking. Laugh, learn, and make memories—where sailing skills are gained naturally and family time takes center stage.

Cancellation Policy
At Bluewater Escapes, we are committed to delivering a smooth, enjoyable, and safe sailing experience. While we understand that plans can sometimes change, our booking policies are designed to ensure fairness and efficiency for all guests. All bookings are strictly non-refundable. However, in the event you are unable to make your scheduled trip, we offer a one-time rescheduling opportunity based on the next available date in our calendar. Guest-initiated cancellations made within 24 hours of departure may forfeit this rescheduling option. Refunds will only be considered under extraordinary circumstances and are granted solely at the discretion of Bluewater Escapes. In rare instances, schedule adjustments may be required due to factors such as maintenance needs or unfavorable operating conditions. In such cases, we will work with you to reschedule your trip at a convenient time. We ask for as much notice as possible in the event of an emergency cancellation. While refunds are not typically issued, we strive to be understanding and flexible when truly unavoidable situations arise. We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to providing you with a memorable experience on the water.
